Register for an exam with the DELO Testing Centers

Based on the course or program you are enrolled in, use the links below to register for an exam at the DELO Testing Centers in Bowling Green, KY (Garrett Conference Center RM 108 or South Campus RM C240).

The TSA exam is a pre-hire exam that is administered through the PAN network for U.S. Homeland Security. We have been a testing provider for TSA since 2016.
If you have an appointment at our office to complete your I-9 paperwork for employment, be sure to bring the required form(s) of ID with you. See the acceptable documents listed here or from information provided by your employer. Pearson VUE delivers certification and licensure tests through the world’s largest network of test centers in 175 countries across the world. We are pleased to be able to partner with Pearson Vue to deliver testing services which include the Nationally Certified( NREMT) EMT & Paramedic exams, Cisco and Comptia exams for IT professionals, American College exams, HVAC & Electrician licensure exams, HITpro, VMware Inc., RMA, ( Registered Medical Assistant), and all ICC ( International Code Council ) exams. Western Kentucky University serves as a national test center for DSST exams. Because policies regarding DSST credits differ at various institutions, candidates should verify which tests are accepted by their respective schools. Although WKU serves as a DSST test center, we do not accept DSST credits. If you are a WKU student, please refer to our CLEP information.   • The DSST test fee is a total of $121 with two separate payments.
  • The Service Fee of $36 is paid online and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • The Test Fee of $85 is paid on the day of the test (credit card or debit card only).
  • Bring your driver's license, passport or state issued photo ID with signature.
  • Check with your institution for eligibility and minimum score requirements.
  • Bring 4 digit school code with you on test day.
  • You must wait 30 days before re-taking any exam.

Register for an exam at a WKU Regional Campus

Based on the course or program you are enrolled in, use the links under 'Registration Process' to register for an exam at one of the regional locations (Glasgow, Elizabethtown, Owensboro, or Ft. Knox).

Please find the appropriate contact information for your preferred exam site. You must contact the proctor prior to submitting the exam request form.Please note: there are two separate forms: one for ECTC; and one for Ft. Knox, Glasgow, & Owensboro. These forms are specified under Registration Process below.

Step 1: Schedule your exam date and time with your chosen proctoring site. *Note: Testing Windows are determined by your course instructor and any exceptions will need to be approved by the instructor and sent to the DELO Testing Centers before you will be able to schedule outside of a specified testing window.

Step 2: Complete the appropriate off-site exam request form. Based on the course or program you are enrolled in, use the links below to request an exam at a testing facility other than the DELO Testing Centers in Bowling Green, KY.

Please note: there are separate forms based on where you are taking your exam. Please reference the outline below.

*Note: To allow time for processing, please submit your exam request form at least 4 business days in advance of your testing day for pre-approved testing locations and 7 business days in advance of your testing day for sites that must go through an approval process.

WKU 
DELO Testing Centers does not charge a fee; however, the WKU Remote Proctoring Network includes proctor locations who charge for the proctoring services as well as those who do not charge. Students are responsible for payment of any proctoring fees if they choose to use a proctor who charges a fee for this service. Students are also responsible for any additional fees that might be associated with the use of a particular proctoring site, such as parking fees.

 

Register for an exam at another location

Based on the course or program you are enrolled in, use the links under 'Registration Process' to register for an exam at a proctoring facility other than WKU DELO Testing Centers or regional campus locations. 

  • Community College/University Testing Center
  • Community College/University Professional (e.g., professors, deans, etc.; not teaching the subject the student is testing in)
  • Certified Librarians
  • Training/Testing Agency staff
  • Community or Area Learning Center staff
  • Military Testing, Training, or Education officer 
  • Military Commander or two ranks above student
Individuals who you have a personal (e.g. relatives, friends, etc.) or business (e.g. supervisor, colleague, etc.) relationship with will NOT be approved. All requested proctors who are not on the pre-approved lists will go through an approval process before being cleared to administer exams. DELO Testing Centers reserves the right to refuse any proctor it feels does not fall within the Proctor Guidelines for approval.

No pre-approved site in your area? 
If you wish to have your exam proctored at a site not on the pre-approved proctors lists (including a site in another country), it is a possibility. You will need to make arrangements with an individual who falls under the eligible proctors list, which can be found under 'Register for an exam at another location.' If you cannot find a proctor in your area, please call 270-745-2953 or email  delo.offsite@wku.edu  and our staff will be happy to help you.
