Project Grow Community Garden

Community Garden

The Project Grow Community Garden is a learning landscape in which to grow knowledge, cultivate community, and nourish our connection to nature. The garden is shared by everyone and we can always use help. Come flex your green thumb, meet new friends, and maybe even learn something new in the Project Grow Community Garden. No gardening experience is necessary, just a smile and desire to have an enjoyable time is all you need.

It is our goal to have every volunteer leave our office a little happier, healthier, and knowledgeable. We aim to answer questions like: Can gardening be a stress-relieving, rewarding activity? What does escarole, arugula, or bok choy taste like? Why is it important for us to grow food for ourselves as a community? Along with having fun with friends, and trying new healthy foods, we hope that you will gain some awareness about our stake in our food system.

This summer, join us in the garden every Tuesday from 4 pm to 6 pm, plus frequent special events, including how-to workshops and just all-around fun activities!
