Celebrate Student Research and Creative Activities!


REACH Week is dedicated to students who have engaged in research, creative endeavors, and other scholarly activities at WKU. The spring semester event is scheduled for March 17 – 22, 2014. Events include a public address by a keynote speaker, showcases of scholarly activity by colleges and other campus programs, and a student conference.

Public Scholar Network Inaugural Meeting

Location: Faculty House

Time: 10:00 am – 11:30 am

This meeting is open to all faculty, staff, and students who are engaged in public scholarship at WKU, as well as developing a stronger awareness of the public scholarship efforts being done at the university. Topics such as networking, collaboration, and curricular development, among others, will be discussed at the meeting.


College of Education and Behavioral Sciences Showcase

Ogden College of Science and Engineering Ogden College

Will host a "Sinkhole Symposium," featuring short, stimulating presentations from both faculty and students about the origin and aftermath of the National Corvette Museum sinkhole that occurred February 12th. Please join us for this exciting and informative session.

Panel Discussion --Taking It To The Streets:

The WKU Hill House Graduate Assistantship Program Four interdisciplinary Western Kentucky University graduate students live in a house on the corner of East 11th and High Streets, in a historic Bowling Green neighborhood not far from WKU. The Hill House in the last five years has become a cornerstone for community-based research, community development, and revitalization. Come hear about their unique experiences, research, and community projects when Jessica, Jasmine, Kristina, and Uso host a panel discussion.
