Decision Making Workshop
(Any student with a violation of the alcohol code of conduct)
Educates students on the decision making process and how their actions affect others and themselves.
Students will discuss the similarities and dissimilarities in their values and the values of Western Kentucky and other entities.
Identify ways to navigate potential differences in values in the future.
Identify how to positively contribute to a safe, comfortable, and secure environment conducive to academic success and personal growth and development.
Educated students on how to objectively evaluate and accommodate risk and opportunity in the decision-making process.
Appropriate referrals include students found responsible of a first time violation of the Code of Student Conduct involving alcohol, drugs, or Hilltopics.
A reflection paper may be submitted as part of an assessment process.
