Online Graduate Certificates

Western Kentucky University offers the opportunity for graduate students to earn certificates in specialty areas as they are working toward their degree or as stand-alone certificates. There are currently over 20 graduate certificate programs and three graduate endorsements available online.

* The Community College Faculty Preparation certificate may be completed at a distance with advisor approval and proper planning. The discipline specific requirement of 18 hours may be completed online in certain subject areas. Students may select an area of emphasis from any of the online MA or MS programs, if an online pathway is needed.

** The Environmental Health and Safety Certificate has one face-to-face course required (EHS 572) class listed in the course requirements. However, the department is willing to allow online class substitutions with advisor approval.
