Ogden Internship Opportunities
Internships are an educational opportunity. An internship consists of services for experience between a student and an employer. It allows a student to receive hands-on and real-world experience in a particular career, help a student create a network of contacts, and in some cases receive course credit. Some interns find permanent employment with the organization in which they worked up completion of the internship.
OCSE is transitioning all internship and co-op postings to Handshake. Within Handshake students can build a profile and search for opportunities that meet their skill set and qualifications. Students are also able to search by geographic location.
For employers, Handshake is a free platform to use. Companies develop an internship posting and post it on Handshake. Once the position is approved, the OCSE Internship Coordinator will send it out to students. Students can apply using the Handshake platform or an external site of your choice.
