Class of 2016
Making Academic and Social Transitions Educationally Rewarding
Since 1993, M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan has been engaging WKU's newest Hilltoppers in educational sessions, special events, and social activities designed to provide them with essential information and resources to ensure their success in college.
M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan, WKU's five day extended orientation program for first year residential students (commuter students should check out MPC, M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan's Commuter program), provides new students with the opportunity to move to campus a week early--before upperclassmen arrive, before classes begin--to get acclimated to campus, find out where their classes are located, and begin building social support networks. The program strives to assist new students in making a successful academic, as well as social, transition from home and high school to college at WKU.
2013 will mark the program's 20th year! While M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan has grown significantly, both in size and scope, since 1993, the program has become a tradition, a shared experience for two decades of first year students, and its implementation, a celebrated part of WKU history. We sincerely hope you'll consider joining us this coming August as we welcome the Class of 2017 to the hill, and commemorate 20 years of student service and spirit!
