About the Department

The Department of Library Technical Services (DLTS) is composed of five areas: Serials, Bibliographic Access, Acquisitions/Collection Services, Student Personnel, and Library Systems/Technology.
DLTS is responsible for acquiring, organizing, cataloging and providing access to books, serials, non-print items, and electronic resources; binding and preserving materials for extended use in the collection; providing access to multiple resources that enhance and support research and lifelong learning through the online library catalog (TOPCAT), Internet resources, print collections, and emerging forms of information acquisition and access; providing technological support and enhancements to library faculty and staff.
In the search for wisdom and knowledge, we provide users with information, collections, and connections.
