WKU Libraries offers lifelong learning opportunities. Through literary outreach projects, educational and cultural programs, electronic databases, books, and special collections, WKU Libraries provides the necessary resources to advance the quest for knowledge, innovation, and creativity.
Support from the Friends membership assists with valuable programs and resources for the University community and beyond. WKU students benefit from cash awards for excellence in undergraduate library research. Thousands from the region participate in WKU Libraries community outreach programs. The Southern Kentucky Book Fest and the Kentucky Writers Conference are two of our major literary events. In the fall, SOKY Reads! features one book for a community read with special events, author presentations, and discussions. Kentucky Live! and Far Away Places speaker series offer a wide and diverse range of topics from well-known experts.
As a gateway to an ever expanding universe of information, WKU Libraries strives to provide more valuable, high quality information to more people.
