Technical Information

The Adobe Connect meeting application is required: 1) to join, present or host a meeting if you do not have Adobe Flash Player, or 2) to share your screen in an Adobe Connect meeting.  Once you install the application, to join an Adobe Connect meeting, always start the Adobe Connect application and enter the URL in the box.  Do NOT go to an Adobe Connect URL from a browser window (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.).  While it may work for most situations, the Share My Screen feature will not work from all browsers.

Check Firewall

Some locations have firewalls which may prevent you from accessing an Adobe Connect room.  Click the example room link in the next section.  If you can log into the room as a guest and get into the room, your location does not have a firewall.

ACP uses these three ports: 1935 (Adobe RTMP), 80 (Http) and 443 (Https).  Please refer to the Adobe Port link below and contact your network administrator for firewall issues.
