Funding Opportunities & Scholarships for New International Students

International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship
Freshmen applicants with a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA may be eligible for this one-time, non-renewable scholarship.

Annual Award: 3.0-3.24 ($1000), 3.25-3.74 ($5000), 3.75+ ($10,000)

Academic Merit Awards
Students with a minimum 3.3 unweighted GPA and a minimum 25 ACT (1130 SAT) may qualify. 

Award: $1500-8000 per semester



OAS (Organization of American States) Scholarships
Applicants from OAS member states must have unconditional admission to WKU. Award amount varies. 

Application Deadline: November 15, 2017 (Must be admitted to WKU by November 1, 2017)


Graduate Assistantships Research
(GR), Teaching (GT), Assistant Instructor (GI), and General (GG) Assistantships
WKU awards graduate assistantships to select students, enabling them to pursue higher degrees and grow professionally. Award amount varies.



Graduate International Scholarship
Tuition scholarships are available to qualified international graduate students. Award amount varies and is program specific.
