Welcome to the Institute for Citizenship & Social Responsibility.
The Institute for Citizenship & Social Responsibility (ICSR) is a member of the Department of Diversity & Community Studies. The ICSR is an organization of administrators, faculty, students, and staff committed to promoting careful reflection on civic values; engaging in critical analysis of contemporary social, economic, and political problems; and developing the capacities and skills of community organizing, citizenship, and civic engagement as a means to achieving social change and the common good.
The central mission of the ICSR is to develop WKU students' abilities to think critically, serve generously, and act responsibly.

Bianca Brown – SRCS Student & Public Achievement Graduate Assistant was selected as the 2013 ADP/TDC Student Plenary video contest winner. She will speak on a student panel during a plenary session at the American Democracy Project National Meeting in June this year.
