Hiring Process


Overview of the Hiring Process

Step 1

Recruitment & Selection

Use Interview Exchange to conduct a search. View step-by-step instructions for more details.

Step 2

After the Offer

Once offer is accepted:
   a. Initiate Background Check Request
   b. Submit Employee Personnel Action Form (EPAF).

Step 3

Background Check & I-9 Verification

Notify your employee they will receive two emails from donotreply@talentwise.com. One will be to provide consent for the background check and the other will be to complete section 1 of the I-9 employment eligibility form.

The background check must be completed before the expected hire date. No one can begin employment without a completed background check. Section 1 (employee section) of the I-9 must be completed on or before the first day of employment. Email notification will be sent to the department when the background check is completed.

Step 4

HR Registration

Send employee to HR on the first day of employment where they will:
1. Provide identification for completion of I-9 section 2 (a list of acceptable documents is provided to employee when they complete section 1)
2. Complete tax forms/direct deposit (voided check is needed)
