Jeremy Latham

My name is Jeremy Latham and I am elated to be your H4 Counselor! This will be my first time as a counselor and I am excited to share this experience with you!

I am originally from Paducah, Kentucky but consider WKU as a second home. I am a rising Junior majoring in Biochemistry following a Pre-Medical concentration. Although I have no family in the medical field, it has always held a special place in my heart. After shadowing a variety of physicians, nurses, and techs, I have developed a passion for medicine and look forward to practicing after medical school.Jeremy Latham

During my first two years at WKU, I have captured WKU’s “spirit” through AED (a pre-medical society on campus), Greek Life, Study Abroad, and Spirit Masters, which is a student ambassadorial group that conveys, promotes, and preserves what makes WKU so iconic. My campus involvement alongside the support of the Mahurin Honors College has instilled a love for WKU in my heart while simultaneously growing me into a better version of myself. In my free time, I enjoy playing sports, fishing, and spending time with my family.

You may be a little nervous to start your first year of college, but I will assure you that these upcoming years are going to mold you into the person you want to be. College is a time to push the boundaries of what you think you are capable of, so have an open mind and be willing to step outside of your comfort zone. H4 creates a unique atmosphere where you can truly understand the community in the Mahurin Honors College, and I am confident that this community will make a normally difficult transition smoother than a hot knife through butter.

If you have any questions, concerns, or simply want to chat about this upcoming year, please feel free to contact me!

I look forward to meeting you soon! And remember.. #WeAreEast
