CE/T Forms and Resources
After you have read the handbook and have spoken with your research project mentor, you can now begin the CE/T process. These forms are in the order that you will need them. Start with the CE/T Proposal Form.
This form is turned in to begin the CE/T process. You will not be permitted to register for HON 403 or HON 404 until you have an approved proposal form on file with the Honors College.
This form is turned in to the Honors College within the first two weeks of the semester you will defend. You must obtain the signatures of both readers on this form. The NID form tells the Honors College that you will defend by finals of that semester and that you are ready to be assigned a third reader.
The Draft Approval Form is turned in to the Honors College two weeks prior to the defense date with a digital copy of your CE/T draft sent to Dr. Dana Bradley (email@example.com). All three readers and the Honors College will receive a digital copy of your CE/T draft. The first and second readers sign this form telling the Honors College that your CE/T is ready to defend. You will also attach documentation of your approved conference presentation to the Draft Approval Form. You should allow all of your readers two weeks to review your CE/T draft before your defense.
No CE/T defenses will be scheduled during the last week of classes or finals week.
This form should be filled out by the student, printed and taken to the defense. At the defense, the CE/T committee will fill out the form and a member from the CE/T committee will bring the form to the Honors College.
This form should be filled out, signed and delivered to the Honors College by the student after the defense, when the final draft is ready. This form allows us to publish the CE/T on WKU's Library server, TopScholar.
This form should be filled out by the student, signed, and delivered to the Honors College. This form lets the Honors College know if you want to purchase a bound copy of your CE/T, how many copies, and where to have them shipped. This form also serves as a final "check list" for the student.
