Mahurin Honors College Membership Fee

The Mahurin Honors College membership fee is used to support a range of academic priorities focused upon meeting the needs of our scholars. These include: additional Honors course sections, scholarships/grants, and intellectual and social programming. All of the resources are used to assist the Mahurin Honors College to support scholars pursuing their academic and intellectual dreams.


$160/semester - First Year

Frequently Asked Questions

Only scholars entering the Mahurin Honors College Fall 2016 and after will be billed.
Your membership fee will be assessed based on your credit hours earned. For example, if you transfer into WKU with junior status by hours, you will be billed the third year rate.
Yes. You will be billed at the first year rate because you are entering as a first year student at WKU.
The membership fee will be applied to your University Bill at the beginning of each semester.
The fee will be applied to your University Bill. Scholarship funds can be used to cover your university bill balance.
Scholarships to partially or wholly cover the membership fee are available for students demonstrating financial need. Contact honors.admissions@wku.edu for more information.
