COVID-19 Message from Facilities Management:
In alignment with the President’s message in reference to the Governor’s executive
order closing all non-life-sustaining businesses to in-person traffic, the Department
of Facility Management (DFM) will remain open over the next two weeks via remote work
and essential personnel on-site. Essential functions include support to all other
essential personnel on campus. We recognize that this will be a challenging transition
period for everyone, DFM’s essential personnel will be on campus to support you.
We’ll continue to adjust our essential operations and on-site staffing to provide
all services needed to support students, faculty, and staff as the current situation
Our main office line, 745-3253 will be manned from 7:30am-4:00pm, Monday thru Friday.

For any after hour emergencies, please call our university police at 270-745-2548, they will contact our on-call DFM duty manager.

Every 3 years, WKU Facilities Management collaborates with the Office of Sustainability to complete the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education Report. This report comprehensively evaluates WKU's sustainability practices from multiple angles to award a final score. Facilities Management helps WKU be more sustainable with our green cleaning program, our recycling program and our energy management efforts. In 2019, WKU maintained it's score of being a silver rated campus. In the next report, we are going for gold!
