Congratulations Dr. Angela Jones!
Dr. Angela Jones is this 2013 winner of the Potter College Service Award.
As most of you know this is a well-deserved, long-overdue honor. Dr. Jones' work placing students into internships has led students to full-time jobs using their English major as the basis for their employment. She has created a network of employers who now turn to her to ask "who can you send us?" We're very proud to have her in our department!

We're delighted to announce Dawn Winters as one of the recipients of the Potter College Part-time Faculty Teaching Awards for 2012. The Awards Committee has reviewed the nominations and has chosen Barb Deeb in Broadcasting and Dawn Winters in English to receive the Potter College Awards this year. Dawn teaches English 100, 200, and 300.
A special recognition of Barb and Dawn will be in August, but don't wait until then to congratulate them both on some excellent work! Their contributions illustrate the important role that part-time faculty members play in building the strength of our programs.
Thanks to the Awards Committee and to Karen Schneider for their work on this process.
