The Assisted Stories Project is a documentary web series of short visual essays featuring residents of the South over 60 who live in a variety of communities for people of retirement age.
Produced and directed by WKU English and Film professor Dr. Jerod Ra'Del Hollyfield, season one focuses on 12 residents of facilities in Bowling Green, KY.
Though the series is hosted at WKU, each future season will shift to a new Southern city and filmmaker.
Episodes of Season 1 will premiere every Friday beginning on May 27th throughout summer 2016.
