Application
Applicants to the Rank I program must hold or be eligible to hold the Rank II Kentucky Teacher certification in Speech-Language Pathology. If you are interested in the Rank I but are not currently teacher certified in speech-language pathology, you would first need to complete the Master's degree in speech-language pathology in order to be eligible to apply and be accepted.
All Rank I applicants must be admitted to WKU's Graduate Program. Click here to apply online. The Graduate Studies Office will notify the Department when you are accepted into the Rank I program of studies.
Once accepted, applicants may begin their Rank I program in any semester. You can search for classes through the WKU Schedule of Classes then register for class through WKU's TopNet. The length of time it takes a student to complete a Rank I depends on how many credit hours needed to attain 60 credit hours, course offerings, and your personal situation.
