Lavender Recognition Ceremony

The Lavender Recognition Ceremony is an annual event that builds on the university-wide commencement activities. The ceremony celebrates and recognizes the achievements and contributions of our LGBTQ and Ally graduates to the WKU community. The event is held during the spring semester. Learn more.

ISEC Graduation Celebration

The Intercultural Student Engagement Center (ISEC) sponsors WKU’s May graduation celebration for students who identify as Black, Hispanic/Latino, Asian, Native American, or Multiracial.  Administrators, faculty, staff, classmates, and friends will gather to celebrate the students' accomplishments. Global Learning & International Affairs Graduation Celebration

Please join us in honor of our international student graduates from around the world at the WKU International Graduation Reception. Graduating students will be celebrated with a sash and pinning ceremony on behalf of GLIA. Light refreshments will be served.

 


Doctor of Physical Therapy Awards & White Coat Ceremony

The Department of Physical Therapy – Class of 2019 Pre-Commencement Awards Ceremony proudly recognizes the 4th Cohort of WKU-DPT students to complete the arduous three (3) years of didactic and clinical education instruction associated with the Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree. Also recognized during this ceremony, and RSVP reception to follow, will be the Class of 2020 – White Coat Ceremony.  As their first year of didactic instruction concludes, the Class of 2020 will be ceremonially coated as they prepare to embark on their first of four Clinical Rotations. 

CNS & CSI Counseling Hooding Ceremony

Chi Sigma Iota - Omega Kappa Upsilon, the international counseling honor society, sponsors the Department of Counseling and Student Affairs' counseling graduate hooding ceremony. Administrators, faculty, staff, classmates, family, and friends are welcome to join us in celebrating the students' achievements.

EALR Recognition & Hooding Ceremony

Bring your friends and family to come celebrate your achievements with the EALR department! This annual event allows graduating Organizational Leadership Master students to be individually recognized and “hooded” to signify his or her success in completing their Graduate program. We will also be individually recognizing Organizational Leadership Undergraduate and Educational Leadership Doctoral students for completing their degrees. This ceremony is celebrated with some of the professors and peers graduates have worked alongside throughout their educational careers.
