Non 2+2 Students
Many CIT majors transfer to WKU after completing their associate’s degree from a partner institution. Other majors are traditional on-campus students. Some are non-traditional, adult, or returning students.
If you are a ‘non-2+2’ student (you haven’t completed an associate’s degree in IT) you will start the major by completing a set of foundational courses. These required classes will introduce you to the key subject areas in the discipline and prepare you for more advanced study in your electives.
We strive to make the CIT program as flexible and accessible as possible.
Contact your assigned CIT advisor for more information.
