WKU Health Education and Promotion Department Receives Mini Grant

Two of WKU’s Department of Public Health’s students, Ese Aghenta and Aida Mehmedovic were part of a $1,000 mini grant awarded to WKU’s Health Education and Promotion Department (formerly Health Services: Health Education). The grant was awarded by the Female Health Company for Female Condom (FC2), an organization that encourages and promotes the use of female condoms. The award is a contribution to the Health Education and Promotion Department for sexual health education and awareness on campus for the 2014-2015 academic year.  Ese and Aida are doing their internship with the Health Education and Promotion Department and wrote most of the grant proposal. Thanks to the team for their hard work and contribution to the public health field! Congratulations!
