WKU offices in Bowling Green will open at 10 a.m. Friday. Classes Friday remain canceled and campuses in Glasgow, Owensboro and Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox remain closed Friday. Saturday classes in Bowling Green will proceed as scheduled. Here is a link to the University’s attendance policy during adverse weather conditions. Use caution and watch for slick spots on roads and walks.

Jeff Katz is the Dean and Professor of Management at Western Kentucky University’s Gordon Ford College of Business. He previously held the Edgerley Family Chair in Business and was Associate Dean for Graduate Programs at Kansas State University’s College of Business Administration. A former Fulbright Scholar, his teaching and research focuses on global competitors, strategic decision making and corporate governance. He has published more than 50 scholarly works in the area of global competition with a specific emphasis on the relationship between company strategies and their impact on performance of the firm. Dr. Katz obtained his doctorate in management from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business Administration. He is a past president of the Midwest Academy of Management and has served on the editorial boards of several journals in the field of management.
