Residency Information

At WKU, a residency determination is made based on information supplied by each applicant for admission. In general, in-state residence for tuition purposes requires domicile and legal residency in Kentucky prior to enrollment. Upon acceptance to the university, students are informed of the residency decision via the personalized profile sheet that accompanies each admission letter.

Resources for Guidance Counselors

We understand that as a high school guidance counselor you seek to provide the most up-to-date information to your students in the simplest way possible. Our guidance counselor site is your one-stop shop for admissions criteria, campus visitation information, financial aid requirements and more.
