What tests are required for beginning freshmen?

Either the ACT or SAT is required of all beginning freshmen. Test dates and registration information may be obtained from a high school counselor or the test company:

What is the WKU Pre-College Curriculum?

Successful completion of the Pre-College Curriculum means the completion of:

  1. The KY minimum high school graduation requirements (Note: students graduating from a high school outside of KY will need to complete a college preparatory curriculum comparable to KY’s pre-college curriculum)
  2. Two credits of a single world language (admission to WKU may still be granted without the completion of two credits of a single world language)

Students 21 years of age or older are exempt from the WKU Pre-College Curriculum requirement.
