CHHS Living Learning Community

members in Centenial Mall

The CHHS Living Learning Community is a unique opportunity that allows students to live and take classes together.  Housing and Residence Life and CHHS have partnered to help students transition into WKU easier and have the best possible experience.  The students in the LLC will live in the same single gender residence halls. Women will be in one and the men will be in another.  Being a part of the LLC helps you form stronger relationships with your peers and faculty, as well as, professionals in your area of interest.

What about roommates?? If you have already requested a roommate that's OK! We will make sure that you get placed together in Bemis or Barnes! We know that college can be a difficult transition - for that reason, HRL is generously helping us out and allowing students to continue to live with their preferred roommate!

The best part is that there are NO additional charges to be a part of the LLC.  This is a FREE opportunity to students who choose to participate.  Another perk is that being in the LLC does not prevent you from joining other organizations.  In fact, we encourage you to get out and involved in different areas on campus!  The more you get involved, the better your college experience can be!

What classes will I take? The courses that the LLC students typically take are as follows:

Fall Courses

CHHS 175 - University Experience

COMM 145 - Fundamentals of Public Speaking

THEA 151 - Theater Appreciation
