CHHS Living Learning Community

The CHHS Living Learning Community is a unique opportunity that allows students to live and take classes together.  Housing and Residence Life and CHHS have partnered to help students transition into WKU easier and have the best possible experience.  The students in the LLC will live in Bemis Lawrence Hall (women) or Barnes Campbell Hall (men).  Being a part of the LLC helps your form stronger relationships with your peers, faculty, and professionals in your area of interest.

What about roommates?? If you have already requested a roommate you can keep that person! We will make sure that you get placed together in Bemis or Barnes! We know that college can be a difficult transition - for that reason, HRL is generously helping us out and allowing students to continue to live with their preferred roommate!

The best part is that there are NO additional charges to be a part of the LLC.  This is a FREE opportunity to students who participate.  Another perk is that being in the LLC does not prevent you from joining other organizations.  In fact, we encourage you to get out and involved in different areas on campus.  The more you get involved, the better your college experience can be!

In addition, the courses that the LLC students typically take are as follows:

Fall Courses

Spring Courses

CHHS 175 - University Experience

COMM 145 - Fundamentals of Public Speaking

HMD 111 - Human Nutrition

HIST 120 - Western Civilization Since 1648

SOCL 100 - Intro to Sociology

THEA 151 - Theater Appreciation
